Chiropractors mainly deal with musculoskeletal disorders.
This means that their work is concerned with mechanical disorders of the spine and joints and the effect that these disorders may have on the nervous system and on general health. All chiropractors must be registered with the General Chiropractic Council, which regulates the profession by setting standards, protecting patients and developing the chiropractic profession in the UK
David Aberdeen is a Registered Chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council and with the leading health insurers including AXA ,BUPA and PPP.
In line with the commitment of the practice to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence, David has since qualification taken a keen interest in all developments in his sphere through ongoing post graduate study.
This has among other things included the development and adoption into the practice of several leading edge disciplines which have helped to put Westbury Chiropractic Clinic at the very forefront for quality Chiropractic treatment.
In recognition of this, David was in October 2009 honoured with a Fellowship of The British Chiropractic Association for services to the profession.
He is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and abides by the strict code of ethics of that Association. They only accept members who have graduated from a nationally or internationally recognised college of Chiropractic education after a minimum of four years full-time training.
The BCA ensures its chiropractors maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training.
